PAINTING STUDIO Update-Fall In The Wind, Woods, And Words by Stephen Craig Rowe

Painting Studio Update: This past week I had my last dose of chemo and it was a sad-glad parting for myself and some of the care givers with hugs, well wishes and soft tears as it was a long six months. Same, same with my oncologists, fellow veterans, and friends in Danville and Indianapolis. After the fare thee wells I hoist my backpack on my shoulder, turn and walk on while flooded with emotion and quiet tears.

I also met with my surgeons and have a pre op deal on the 17th of November for some tests and probes, consult and info for my upcomming surgery on December 8th to remove the tumor. The surgeons were very positive and I feel that I am in good hands.

for the sounds

of the words

echo

the winds

that

flutter and filter

shafts of light

scattering

in the

woods,

mist in the

cool

damp

lush

scent

loaming,

and

whispering

in the

pines

Falling in the

winds,

woods,

and

words.
