I loved reading about the cleaning spree. I remember one time while mother was still alive, that a close girlfriend came over with her toddlers to play with mine and saw I was scouring the kitchen for all it was worth. She said "You mother is coming to visit". It was a statement, not a question. I said "How did you know"? She said "you're cleaning like a whirlwind trying to get everything sparkling before she gets here"!

What a great feeling to sit and admire your hard prep work and the anticipation of family.

Steve, It was lovely to sit and visit with you on Tuesday evening at Jim's. You have always been a pleaseure to see and chat with at Jim's and you had been missed by us. I was thrilled you happened to come by whilst we were there. Your story has touch me deeply and I am keeping you in my heart and prayers always. Sending you positive vibes, every day, even whilst I am in Bristol England. I came here to Bristol, my home in the UK on Wednesday. Our dinner at JIm's was the last one for about 6 weeks. I come here to share taking care of my mum. My sister comes here from France for between 5 and 6 weeks, and I go home to Steve in East Peoria, then I return here for 5-6 weeks and Catherine, my sister goes home to France. Mum is very poorly and can't be left alone any more and there is no way we will put her in a nursing home!!! I guess because of my stints in Bristol, taking care of mum is always on my mind, is the reason I was concerned about who looks after you when you have had your treatments etc. I worry! I need to go, I have to take my sister to the train station, for her train to the airport. I am sad we only got to spend the day together but that is better than none at all.
I am thrilled to be able to keep up with your Blogs Steve, and will look forwrad to reading them.
